1. Why rent an apartment instead of a hotel room?
Apartments are the growing alternative to hotels all over the world. More and more travellers are booking apartments instead o the regular hotel room. Why?
Well the benefits are many.
They provide more space than any hotel room.
They are cheaper than an equivalent hotel room.
Apartment renters are free agents. No maids knocking you up each morning

2. How do I make a reservation?
Choose your apartment which suits your requirements.
Fill in the booking form to check availability and forward to us.
The reservation process is quick and simple and we are always on hand to guide you through or answer any queries you may have.
3. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa / Master Card or American Express or by bank transfer.
4. Can you split the charges between my different guests travelling?
W require a 10% booking deposit b credit card. The remaining balance is usually paid by credit card o cash on arrival. For multiple parties traveling together, one of the group should be responsible for discharging the balance.
If this is not possible and more than one credit card is being used for payment the owner reserves the right to charge a 5% administration fee per additional card.
5. Why do you need a credit card number?
We require a 10% booking deposit by credit card for all reservations.
6. Can I change my reservation dates?
If you need to make a change to your reservation arrival or departure dates please contact us as quickly as possible to avoid your dates being booked by another party.
7. What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation policies varies depending on the particular apartment and property booked. Our reservation staff can outline specific cancellation policies.
8. Do you charge a security deposit?
In most cases a security deposit is charged by the apartment owner. Which is

10. Is Tax Applicable
Yes, Tax is not included in the nightly rates. The current rate is 11.65%
11. What is not included in the rental rate?
Bills such as local telephone calls, internet and gym usage vary from apartment to apartment. Some owners offer theses services at no extra cost but a few charge a small fee. International calls will be charged at hotel rates.
Housekeeping
The apartment will be cleaned to the highest standard before your arrival. The Housekeeping department will service the apartment weekly after this, if you need more frequent cleaning services, these are available locally and a charge is payable.

12. What amenities do the apartments have?
Lifts
In most cases the apartment buildings have elevator services, particularly in the
higher buildings. Brownstone buildings tend to be walk ups. I.E-
Kitchens
Yes, almost all of the properties have full cooking facilities and come equiipped with crockery, kitchen utensils and modern appliances.
Bed linens and towels
All of our apartments come with plenty of bed linens and towels.
Hairdryers
Many owners do NOT supply hair dryers due to safety reasons and insurance. Travel hairdryers are widely available in department stores and are inexpensive to purchase.
13. Do you have a minimum stay?
Generally, all of the apartments featured have a minimum stay of 3 nights. Some buildings have a minimum stay of 7 nights . Locations, which require a stay to be longer than 3 nights, are clearly marked as such. If you do not see a minimum stay requirement for a specific property listed, it is safe to assume that the building will allow stays of 3 nights or more.
14. What electricity voltage is used in the United States?
The United States uses the 120 volt system. No electrical appliances will work as sockets and plugs are completely different from those found in Europe or most other cities. If travelling. to the US, it is wise to bring a travel adapter, which can be obtained locally or from department stores before you depart. Travel adapters are useful for cell phone chargers, shavers and hairdryers. You should not need to bring too many electrical devises as items such as clock radios and irons are already provided in your apartment. Hairdryers, however are not provided.
15. I don't know the area well can you help me?
Your apartment owner will of course know he area and they will be able to recommend places in he area. In some locations, free concierge services are provided. Check with our reservations staff for more details.
16. What if things go wrong while I'm there?

Yes, in some locations cats and small dogs are allowed but not all owners allow
them. In almost all cases the owner will charge a one-
18. What if I need to extend my stay?
If you need to extend your stay it will be necessary to contact us as soon as possible prior to your arrival if possible so that we can arrange to have your booking extended. While in one of our apartments, if an extension is required, please contact our reservation department as it’s no always possible to extend your stay in the same apartment as we may have guests arriving to say in it. We can usually offer you an alternative unit.
19. Do I need travel insurance or personal insurance?
Travel insurance is probably a good idea when traveling to the United States as medical costs can unreal. We advise all travellers to take out travel insurance.

20. Do I need a Visa to visit the United States?
Visa Information
Most people travelling. from Europe and who are European citizens do not require a visa to visit the Unites States under the Visa Waiver Programme, But certain countries are excluded.
For full information visit the State Government Travel Website, or your local U.S Embassy for up to date information.

Most of our buildings have doormen / concierge services so it's best to head straight to the building where you are staying. The front desk / doorman / concierge will be expecting you and will have the keys ready for you on your arrival.

22. Do your apartments have telephones and what are the costs?
Yes, almost all of our apartments come equipped with direct dial telephones. In most cases local calls are free and in some cases all calls are free.
Some owners charge hotel rates.
Note that some owners will charge extra for International calls made from the apartment so they can work out quite expensive and his amount will either be deducted from your deposit or will be charged to your credit card.
For best value we recommend getting a calling card. The phone card market is very competitive so cards offering low international rates are widely available from shops everywhere.
23. Is Internet access provided?
99.9% of apartments now offer broadband Internet at no extra charge.
In a small number of buildings that are not not under our control extra charges may apply. These rates will be clearly listed in the apartment.
24. Do the apartments come with towels and bed linens?
Yes, all apartments come with items such as bed linens and towels.
25. Foreign Exchange Rates.
All rental rates are quoted in US $ but we can quote you in any currency.
26. Do you provide cribs and high chairs for baby guests?
Some owners do and some do not, please request at time of booking and we will see what we can do. There are several companies who offer the rental of theses items. Upon arrangement, they will deliver and collect all items directly to and from your apartment. They will even provide bedding and blankets for cribs. All items are professionally sanitised and are competitively priced.
29. What are the Special Offers/ last minute deals
A number of owners offer special rates and last minute rates as well as canceled dates. Dates are offered at a reduced rate only for the specified dates, i.e. A Guest arrives on the arrival and departs no later than the specified departure date.
The available dates are only available as a block and can not be broken up into separate bookings periods or the departure date cannot be extended longer than specified.
